Establish the Centre for Precision Mental Health Care to expand the capacity for research and clinical trials to directly improve patient care

Fund advancements through the work of three Endowed Research Chairs:

$500K – Personalized Medicine/Precision Care – research that focuses on applying genomic and biomarker findings, particularly in pharmacogenetics, to personalize and enhance mental health care

$500K – Population Health – multi-method and multi-jurisdictional research on the delivery of and access to mental health care, the responsible use of technology, and the evaluation of health policies and programs that aims to strengthen mental health care systems for those who rely on them and those who deliver care

$500K – Applied Research in treatment resistant depression and dementia spanning across prevention, early detection, and interventions, combining leading-edge predictive and therapeutic tools; building a Centre of Excellence in early detection and management of late life depression and cognitive disorders

$1M – Build the Ontario Shores’ Digital Front Door – a digital solution that will streamline and accelerate access to life-saving services

$500K – Expand Recovery College including Post-secondary and Recovery High School applications
